Wind Power

Affordable and renewable energy from wind

For St1, wind power is an enabler in realizing our vision of becoming the leading producer and seller of CO2-aware energy. With comprehensive expertise across the entire wind power value chain, we are committed to sustainable and efficient energy solutions.

St1 is a Nordic wind power developer and a provider of technical service management (TCM) services. Our wind power projects span Norway, Sweden, and Finland, all aimed at increasing access to renewable energy and driving the energy transition. Among these, the most developed project is the 800 MW Davvi wind farm project in Eastern Finnmark, Norway. In Finland, St1 offers wind farm operations as a service, managing a total capacity of 245 MW.

What we do

St1 has more than 15 years of experience in the wind power industry. In 2009, we co-founded TuuliWatti Oy with S-Voima, through which we developed and built more than 500 MW of wind power capacity in Finland. While our share in TuuliWatti was later divested, St1 continues to manage assets as a third-party operator. As of 2024, we manage 3.5% of Finland's total wind power capacity, positioning us as one of the largest third-party operators in the country.

Wind power is integral to our mission of transitioning away from fossil energy. By leveraging our value chain, we are committed to delivering affordable, renewable energy to both our customers and partners.

In line with our vision, we are actively developing new projects in Norway and Sweden.
