Wind Power
What we do
St1 has more than 15 years of experience in the wind power industry. In 2009, we co-founded TuuliWatti Oy with S-Voima, through which we developed and built more than 500 MW of wind power capacity in Finland. While our share in TuuliWatti was later divested, St1 continues to manage assets as a third-party operator. As of 2024, we manage 3.5% of Finland's total wind power capacity, positioning us as one of the largest third-party operators in the country.
Wind power is integral to our mission of transitioning away from fossil energy. By leveraging our value chain, we are committed to delivering affordable, renewable energy to both our customers and partners.
In line with our vision, we are actively developing new projects in Norway and Sweden.

Where we are
Finland
In Finland, St1 actively seeks wind power projects for investment and co-development. We offer over a decade of expertise to carefully selected projects and portfolios. Currently, we manage 66 wind turbines with a total production capacity of 245 MW. Our TCM services are expanding to support wind park owners across the Nordics.
Norway
In Norway, the 800 MW Davvi wind park is awaiting permitting phase. We are also developing the Sandfjellet wind park, which has a potential capacity of up to 750 MW. Sandfjellet wind park is in pre noticing phase and was not prioritized for hearing by NVE.
Sweden
In Sweden, St1 develops projects from inception to fully operational wind parks and offers asset management services for external projects. We are currently developing the Klokkarberget wind park.
