Henrikki Talvitie has been appointed as the CEO of St1 Nordic Oy. He aims to begin work as CEO from 1 June onwards. Henrikki Talvitie has worked in the international oil sector since mid-1990s and will move to the role of CEO of St1 Nordic Group after managing North European Oil Trade Oy since 2007. At the same time, the current CEO, Kim Wiio, will become a full-time member of St1 Nordic's Board of Directors, focusing on Group acquisitions.
We successfully completed the merger between St1 Nordic and St1 Group at the turn of the year. With all of our businesses now in one Group, we will seek new growth through various projects in the coming years, for which we want to free up resources in the Group's management in particular. We are delighted that Henrikki will now take the helm of our group. His strong experience in the area of international oil trade in particular will strengthen our Group.
